Reflection Task 2b
Pride and Prejudice is one of the masterpieces of Jane Austen. Bennett family has five daughters, and none of them are married. Mr. Bennett doesn't have a son; so if he dies, his fortune won't be stay his daughters. Mrs. Bennett tries to get her daughters marry. Jane is the eldest sister. She is the most beautiful girl in the town. Elizabeth is our protagonist, not as much as Jane but she is beautiful. She's very smart and modest. Mary, Lynda and Kitty are kind of weird characters. Mr. Bingley's settling the town is a big chance for Mrs. Bennett and her daughters. Mr. Bingley might be easygoing and pleasant, but his sisters are snobs and his controlling friend Mr. Darcy isn't about to let Mr. Bingley marry beneath him. Bennett's don't much love Mr. Darcy, because of his pride. When they all meet up at a local ball, Mr. Darcy lets everyone around him know just how dumb and boring including the second Bennet daughter, Elizabeth. Mr. Bingley falls in love with Jane, but Jane can't show her feelings. Bingley's leaving the town devastates Bennett's, especially Jane. After all this, Mr. Collins, Bennett's cousin, comes the town and proposes Elizabeth. Lizzy's rejection impels Mr. Collins to propose Charlotte Lucas, Elizabeth's best friend. Charlotte marries and moves to Collins' village, which is under service Lady Catherine de Bourgh who is Mr Darcy's aunt! Lizzy visits Charlotte and comes across Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy makes his declaration of love, but Lizzy's rejection is clear. She thinks Mr. Darcy is a prideful and bad person. Mr. Darcy writes a letter in which he defends himself. After this letter, Elizabeth's thoughts start changing about Darcy. While Lizzy handles all these, she gets a letter from Jane. Jane writes that Lynda escaped with Wickham, who told lies about Darcy to Lizzy but actually is a horrible person. Darcy finds them and bring home. Darcy's behaviours make Lizzy fall in love. And at the end, they get married, too.

I think this book is my favourite book. All those entricas, reasons and results made me excited while I was reading it. As like the title, book shows prejudice shouldn't be effect us. Everything can change like everyone. Nearly there is nothing I didn't like in it. I can suggest you to read it. :)
