REFLECTION TASK 1A

     There are so many student clubs in METU. In my first year at college, I attended a lof of clubs. Actually, I just attended those clubs' meetings which are held at the beginning of the semester to inform people about that club. One of those clubs was Media Club which I continued to participate whole year. Media Club has six subcategories. I was in the organization group. Last year we throved a party whose concept was the 90's. Even I acted the party's introduction video. However, I couldn't attend the club I want. I really love acting, so I wanted to attend a theatre club. Owing to some personal problems, I could able to attend this year. There is a club named THBT (Turk Halk Birimi Toplulugu). THBT is a well-established club which was founded in 1961.

Like Media Club, this club has many subcategories. My first intend for going to this club was its traditional Turk theatre unit. Thanks to THBT, I can spend great time for the name of theatre. This year in March, our theatre team is going to perform a play. Except for this theatre subcategory, I attend another unit which is interested in theoretical side of the traditional theatre. In this unit, we are reading articles about Traditional Turk Theatre. Even this year in May, we are organizing another event. I really love this club. Thanks to THBT, I can spend great time according to my hobbies. Moreover, I met so many people in there, and I made a lof of friends. To sum up, I have found a club where I can really enjoy and make contribution, and I think, everyone can find a club through their hobbies or interest, in METU.
