     There are two choices one can make about where he can stay while studying the college. It can be hard to decide whether to live on school campus at a dormitory or to rent an apartment in the city. There are same aspects of this situation. First, from financial aspect, a dormitory can be more suitable.

Rents of dormitory rooms are fair for a student. However, even if one could find a cheap apartment, its rent will probably be twice as much as a dormitory's. Apart from apartment's rent, there will be extra costs like bills, repairs, etc. Second,  we can compare living on campus and renting an apartment from the aspect of private area.

 Living in a dormitory may cause some problems. I'm living in a dormitory, and I have three other roommates. Even though we do not have any problems, I'm often looking for some private are for myself. In a dorm room, one has to think of other roommates and act appropriately. Nevertheless, in an apartment one may have housemates but he can have his own room, which enables him to  spend time as he wants. To sum up, living in a dorm may be more suitable from a financial aspect, but renting an aparment will be more comfortable.
